FESTIVALS IN MALAYSIA

  Hi everyone! On this post, we are going to tell you about the "Festivals In Malaysia".


       Hari Raya Aidilfitri is celebrated every year during 1st Syawal on Islamis Calendar. It is celebrated to achieve glory of one month of fasting. During Hari Raya Aidilfitri, every people usually wear new and colorful outfit.Kids usually will receive Raya Angpow. During Hari Raya Aidilfitri, many food were served such as Satay, Ketupat, Rendang, cookies and more. 


      Chinese New Year is celebrated by Chinese nation. During Chinese New Year,they were a lot of foods such as moon cake, 'kuih bakul', fortune cookies, oranges and more. Chinese kids reserve 'angpow'. They wear beautiful outfits such as 'cheongsam' and 'samfoo'.

  
      Deepavali is the festival for Indian nation. They wear veshti,jippa and saree. The foods that serve during Deepavali is thosai,murukku, vadai and more. Indian go to the temple to pray and to give thanks.

INDEPENDENCE DAY@NATIONAL DAY

  Hi everyone! Today we are going to tell you some story about Independence Day/National Day.  

     A long time ago, our country did not free because we are colonized by the foreigner. We were forced by the British to follow their instruction. The work done by the people of the Malaysia will be taken by them. There are many objects that were seized by them as gold, tin and more. Items seized by them will be taken back to their country and will be sold.


     Their country will be rich and our country will be hit by poverty. The king was also threatened by the invaders. The invaders said that they are smarter, richer stronger. They also said that Malaysia would not be alive without them. 

      The king also had a son named Tunku Abdul Rahman. Tunku Abdul Rahman is a wise man and a responsible person. Tunku Abdul Rahman studied abroad and travelled around the world to learn more about how to provide security in the country. Tunku Abdul Rahman returned to the land wither after a year travelling around the world. 

     Tunku Abdul Rahman said to the residents of Malay that they are being colonized. He wanted to meet Queen Elizabeth to request security for the country. However, he did not have the money to buy the ticket. The residents of Malaya cooperated collect money, gold and all precious thing which belong to them. Finally, Tunku Abdul Rahman have enough money to buy the ticket.

     After that, Tunku Abdul Rahman went to the airport to catch the plane to meet with Queen Elizabeth. All the villagers was there, at the airport. Tunku Abdul Rahman went to the United Kingdom with one  Indian & Chinese digtary. They have a meeting and then Queen Elizabeth agreed to give them independence.

    Indian & Chinese nation agreed to have Tunku Abdul Rahman as their Prime Minister. Tunku Abdul Rahman declare independence to their contry. He named Malaya as Malaysia...

SOLAR SYSTEM FACTS/INFORMATION

     Hi everyone! Today we are going to tell you some facts/information about our solar system.


1. Comets

A comets is a very small solar system body made mostly of ices mixed with smaller amounts of dust and rock. Most comet are no larger then a few kilometers across.


2. Asteroids

Asteroids are small, rocky solar system bodies populate interplanetary space out to the orbit of Jupiter. There are millions of them, and they are often grouped by their composition. The planetary science community refers to them as minor planets,a general term applied to solar system bodies smaller than moons.


3. Meteorite

Earth is bombarded with millions of tons of space material each day.Most of the objects vaporize in our         atmosphere,but some of the larger pieces (from pebbles to boulder-sized rocks)actually fall to the ground.

4. Sun

The sun (or Sol), is the centre of our solar system and is responsible for the Earth's climate and weather.The Sun is an almost perfect sphere with a different of just 10 km in diameter between the poles and the equator.

5. Pluto

Discovered in 1930, Pluto is the second closest dwarf planet to the sun and was at one point classified as the ninth planet. Pluto is the largest dwarf planet but only the second most massive, with Eris being the most massive.

6. Andromeda

The Andromeda Galaxy ( M31) is the closet large to the Milky Way and is one of a few galaxies that can be seen unaided from the Earth. In approximately 4.5 billion years the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way are expected to collide and the result will be a giant elliptical galaxy.

POLAR BEAR: What you need to know

Hi! I want to explain about POLAR BEAR. I hope this post will help you to understand about this interesting and beautiful animal.

Polar bear is only found in the Arctic and it is the largest carnivore in the world. The most important habitats for polar bears are the edges of pack ice where currents and wind interact. Its fur is thicker than other bears with a thick layer of blubber beneath their fur to provide buoyancy and insulation.

Its main foods are the seals and sea lion. Occasionally, it will eat walrus and beluga whales. Polar bear is the good swimmer and can swim up to 354 kilometers. Polar bear does not hibernation. Its can withstand hunger using its body fat for energy source up to 8 months. Polar bear rarely attack humans unless it is hungry. When it is threatened, the polar bear will stand up and open its mouth to frighten the enemy.

 Pregnant polar bears need to eat a lot of foods in the summer and fall to build up enough fat reserves to survive the denning period. Polar bear seek out maternity dens in October or November. Most maternity dens are located on land where snow accumulates including along coastal bluffs or pressure ridges on sea ice. 

 Female polar bears give birth to usually 1 or 2 one pound cubs and then nurse them until they reach about 20 – 30 pounds before emerging from the den in March or April. The young are born from November through January while the mothers are hibernating. Cubs will remain with their mothers for 2 years.

Length              : 1.8m – 3m (3.3m if its stand)

Weight              : 150kg-700kg (reach 800 kg during the winter)

Foods                : Seals, sea lion, fish, dead         animals

Habitats            : Arctic

BATIK FACTS

     Hi Guys, have you ever wear a batik blouse?



     Batik cloth companies found in the state of Kelantan and Terengganu.Batik originated from Indonesia.In Malaysia,there is akind of batik named Batik Pelangi around since the 1770s . Time previously stamped Batik using potatoes.Now there is a modern batik is a modern tool that makes easy to keep batik in clothes.There are three of batik blog,batik and batik stain ( the screen).


     Batik also has element of nature that characterized the plants,plants,flowers and clouds larut. Tool used to makes batik as practitioners blocks,a mixture of wax,cloth,cotton yarn dyes colored table.White fabric cotton yarn is most suitable to make batik.After pervaded with the first candle,it will be dyed ina dark color a little.Then,it will be adopted for the second time with dyed a darker color.


     This process continues until exhausted. The fabric is boiled in water containing soda. When  boiled,the color will appear different colors.Batik cloth is then dried in the sun to dry,be ironed,folded and packaged for sale.Now, batik patterns can be made wide.In addition to making the dress,batik also used as jewerly,handbags,cushion covers and many more.

Aidilfitri Celebration ~Ummi~

    During the Hari Raya Aidilfitri day,my family and I was visited my families at Kuala Lumpur.Their
was so happy when I was arrived at their house.Their make open house for my family and my relatives.My relatives was gives raya angpow to me.


     Before the Hari Raya,me and my family was buying a new clothes for Hari Raya.For me and my mother,we buying baju kurung and for my brother and my father their ws buying a sonkok and baju melayu.
Also for me and my mother we buying a new headscarf and for me I got a new shoes.



      At second Hari Raya,I was eating some tradisional food which is rendang,ketupat,lemang,nasi dagang,satay and orange juice.I also eat cornflakes,choclate chip,oreo delight,pineapple tart and red velvet as a cookies.I asking forgivness to my parents.I hope I can meet my families and my relatives soon.

  During Hari Raya,my family and I went back to my grandparent's house to celebrate Hari Raya. We bought the new clothes and shoes. My mother cleaned the house for Hari Raya.

      On Hari Raya,everyone wore colourful and beautiful clothes. They were a lot of traditional foods such as lemang,ketupat,rendang and satay. We also prepare cake,biscuit and some drinks for guest. We went to my uncle's house. He gave me and my cousins Raya Angpow.

       At night,all the children played firework. We were so happy because we can celebrate Hari Raya Adilfitri.

               Every year,after one month of fasting Muslims celebrate Hari Raya Puasa which falls in the month of Syawal.All Muslims celebrate the day with great joy.in the morning,they go to the mosque to pray.Then on returning home,they receive guests.We should ask for forgivenes during Aidilfitri.

              Days before the womenfolk make an open house many varities of cakes, cookies, and sweetmeats. They also cook Rendang Curries and prepare satay to go with ketupat.

              During Aidilfitri, many Malaysians visit their Muslims friends to share their joy.They receive warm hospitality and are entertained to a feast of specially prepared food.Boys and girls were new clothes and shoes.Girls were jewellery and boys were songkoks.Many people went back to their hometown to celebrate Aidilfitri with their parents.

       Aidilfitri is the victorious day. It is on 1 Syawal in Islamic Calendar.

       Before Aidilfitri,
    My family and I went back to my hometown at Kuala Terengganu. My grandparents wanted to do an openhouse. The night before open house, my uncles, aunts, parents, cousin and me were busy preparing.

      During Aidilfitri,
     My family and me visit my relatives. My relatives gave me Raya angpow. The open house at my grandparents house goes well. We serve our guest with tradisional food like ketupat, satay, cookies, Nasi Tomato and Orange Juice as the drinks.

    I hope I still can celebrate Aidilfitri next year. I also hope I can visit my families and relatives again.

TIGER FACTS

Hi everyone! Today I am going to share some of the facts about tiger that I know.

   Tiger is the biggest in cat family. Tiger have a lot of type such as "Malaya Siberia Tiger" and more.

    Tiger also has a long, big and sharp fang. Tiger is a carnivor. Tiger can swim very fast. It also can climb tree and hide within grasses to catch their victim. Tiger  are really good at hunting. 

Tiger can give birth to liger, tiger and tigon. Tigon is the cub of male tiger and female lion. But sometimes, those kind of give birth is very rare. Liger is the cub of male lion and female tiger. While male tiger and female lion give birth to tigon. 

   Siberia and malaya tiger is different.
Siberia tiger live in the snow because Siberia tiger has a big body and thick hair. Siberia tiger has lighter hair then Malaya Tiger. Malaya tiger has a small body. It has dark colour hair. 

    Tiger is almost extinct. We need to care about our Environment to avoid animals extinction. {environment care already being uploaded by us on this blog as well}

ENVIRONMENT CARE

Hi everyone! 
Last few month, I enter a FORUM competition that was organized by my english teacher and the theme is ENVIRONMENT:WHO CARES?. The group was decided by vote and coincidence I also teamed up with "Nur Amelia Natasya". I did this post with some of her help. So, I want to share some of the questions and the answers with  you guys!

ENVIRONMENT FACTS: Environment is VERY IMPORTANT for us. Environment give us source of food, water and air. So all of us need to take care of environment. 

1. How can school children contribute in Environment Care?
School children can contribute in Environment Cares by taking care of their school environment and not litters.

2. What is the benefits of environment to animals?
The benefits of environment to animals is environment like forest, jungle, river, sea and more is the shelter for animals.

3. How we can avoid air pollution?
We can avoid air pollution by not doing open burning.

4. How we can avoid turtles extinction?
We can avoid turtles extinction by not taking their eggs and encourage the hatching programme.

5. Who should care about the environment?
In my opinion, all of us need to take care of environment.

6. What are the source of pollution?
The source of pollution is:
-smokes from smokers and open burning
-litters
-smell from the dumpsite

Conclusion:Whatever it is, we REALLY need to take care of environment. Environment give us all the basic needs that we need to stay alive. Nowadays, the worls is facing with pollution. PLEASE realize that we need to take care of our environment.

LION FACTS

HI! My name is Mewtwo. I want to explain the facts about LION.

      Lion is the second largest cat in family unknown felidae. Lion is called "the king of jungle" because of its large mane. The mane make the lion feared by other animals. Lions live in an open grassland called SAVANNAH in Africa. Male and female lions are different. The male lion has large mane which is not present in the lioness.

  Lions live in large group called pride. It consists of male lion, a few females and their youngs. The leader of the pride, the male lion guards the pride members against the danger. Mean while, the lionesses hunt for the whole group.

Lions spend most of the day resting and sleeping. They hunts mostly at night. The lion's ROAR also can be heard up to 8 kilometer.

      Lions have been known to eat up to 40 kilogram of meat one sitting. Most of time the meals are much smaller,around 40 kilogram per day.

        Now a days,the numbers of while lions are dwindling.This is due to habitat lost and hunting. Actually,the facts about lion are more than I have written. I hope you can learn more about lions.
